Dear Colleagues

We invite you to attend the Workshop "Frontiers in Complex Metallic Alloys" - CMA-Zagreb'08, organized by the European Network of Excellence Complex Metallic Alloys (CMA), which will be held at the Institute of Physics in Zagreb, Croatia, October 1-4, 2008.

The workshop will provide an opportunity to learn about the latest results in the field of complex metallic alloys and plenty of time for discussion of various aspects of the field. Due to the interdisciplinarity of the field, the invited and contributing speakers will include physicists, chemists and material scientists, members as well as non-members of the CMA-network.

Abstracts are invited in the areas of CMA studies including, but not limited to, preparation and synthesis, electron transport and DOS, lattice dynamics, thermal transport and thermoelectricity and surfaces physics in ultra high vacuum of cluster-based complex metallic alloys and related materials.

Zagreb is the capital of Croatia and an old Central European city. It is located at the intersection of several important routes between the Adriatic coast and Central Europe with an international airport. Zagreb offers its guests the Baroque feel of the Upper town, picturesque open-air markets, various kinds of shops and delicious local cuisine.

We cordially invite you to join us at the CMA-Zagreb'08 workshop!
